5 keys to victory against the Indianapolis Colts

Tomorrow, the Miami Dolphins face off against the Indianopolis Colts in a game with huge playoff implications. The Dolphins are currently the AFC's 5th seed, while the Colts are right behind us as the 6th seed. As of now, it seems as if the Dolphins, Colts and Steelers will be competing for two wildcard spots, and winning this game could go a long way for the Dolphins in case a tiebreaker is necessary. In addition, this game happens to be the first time in NFL history that two rookie QBs, both being top 10 picks, and both having winning records are facing off.Andrew Luck and Ryan Tannehill both appear to be the future of their respective franchises, and this could be a great rookie shootout. My 5 keys to the game are after the jump.

Hello all

Hello fellow bloggers and readers my name is Aakash Anandjiwala and I will be blogging about the Miami Heat and their road to success. I got into the Miami heat jive when I was four and I was watching Miami heat games with old timers on the team such as Eddie jones and Caron butler. I came to know the genius creator of this blog, Anish Bhavsar, by simply going to the get togethers between our family and friends. These articles on the Miami heat will cover the following: transactions, games and injuries.  I am looking forward to covering the Miami heat and getting feedback from my fellow followers. My twitter is @mrcheese21, and I will post updates there as well.

Analyzing the Heat's Game 1 Victory

The Miami Heat opened up with a home game against the rival Boston Celtics on Tuesday, and won it despite league MVP Lebron James having to leave early with cramps. It was a hard fought battle that the Heat pulled through and won. Many players stepped up their game, and I'll go through some of the key performers and how their contributions helped achieve this satisfying win.

I'M BACK

Hey guys, I know it's been a VERY long time since I've posted anything, but I've just been way too busy with school and all. But get ready for a wave of great new stories headed your way. Some quick notes for now, the Dolphins are having a great year thus far and look like a legitimate playoff contender, which is great, the Heat are really coming together and should have a good chance to repeat. So, Miami sports are looking up for now, and hopefully it stays that way. Also, you may have noticed my Indian-based sidekick, Pranshav, hasn't posted since way before even my last post, and is no longer a supporting writer for the Miami Sports Hub. He, like me, has been busy with school, especially since he goes to school in India. Don't worry, I am in the process of finding another sidekick that shares our love for Miami football and basketball and can post well-informed, quality articles. If Pranshav is able to, then he will re-join us as a supporting writer as well, but I am also looking for some fresh opinions. If any of you guys, the readers, are willing to take up this post (and to keep up the commitment), send me an e-mail (anishbhavsar1@gmail.com) expressing your interest, I will get back to with you to see if you are capable of this spot. So, that's all for now, stay on the lookout for a barrage of articles this week, it's good to be back, and, as always, FINS UP! LET'S GO HEAT!

Miami Dolphins Free Agency: A look at the top WR options

As we all know, the Dolphins are an absolute mess at the WR spot. Outside of Davone Bess or Brian Hartline, there is no one on this team that deserves to even be a number 3 WR, forget about being a starter. Yesterday, all the teams trimmed their rosters down to 75 players, adding to the free agent pool for Jeff Ireland to pick from. This pool should grow even more at the end of this week when teams trim their rosters down to 53. Not only have I included the WR free agent options, but also WRs that Ireland may trade for. Just as a reminder, Ireland said he was planning on using the picks obtained from the Vontae Davis trade to obtain a WR, and as was reported earlier today, the Dolphins are in the talks with a team about obtaining a star WR, not a pedestrian one, which cuts WRs like James Jones out of the equation. That leaves three trade options and a bevy of free agent options. And, considering our lack of depth, Ireland may just end up trading for a WR while also signing a free agent one. There's a breakdown of each option after the jump.

Power ranking all 11 starting rookie/sophomore QBs

Well, the first three weeks of preseason are pretty much over, and we have a fairly good idea of who is going to be starting at QB on almost every team. As of now, there are 11 rookie/sophomore QBs that are looking at starting game 1 of the regular season, even though one of them is only getting the start because the regular starter is injured, and another is still in a QB competition. However, because there is a chance they will start, they are included in this post. So, let's get the young QB rankings going after the jump.

What to watch for in tonight's season preview

Hey guys, it is game day once again. But, unlike last week, tonight is not a regular preseason game. Tonight is the season preview. This means all of the starters will play at least a half, some may even play into the 3rd quarter. This game is all about the starters getting ready for the regular season and less about evaluating the fringe guys. With that said, let's get into things you should watch for in tonight's preseason matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.
